Revolving Loan Committee
Created in 1985 through a grant from the Vermont Community Development Program, the Plainfield Revolving Loan Fund (PRLF) was created to improve the condition of historic structures, create housing, and improve the vitality of the downtown areas.
By 1997, many of the loans were paid back, so the Select Board formed a committee to oversee granting additional loans. The PRLF program is designed to serve the interests of the town of Plainfield, its citizens, businesses, non-profit organizations, town government, and community organizations.
