Where You Can Register to Vote

• In person at the Town Clerk's Office
• In person or online at the Vermont Department of Motor Vehicles
• Online at the Vermont Secretary of State's office

When You Can Register to Vote

• Verifiable residents can register to vote on any day up to, and including at the voting polls on Election Day. Town meeting is held at the Town Hall Opera House; all other votes are held at the at the Plainfield Town Office.

• Town Hall Opera House—Annual Town Meeting
• Plainfield Town Office—All other local and general elections

Early or Absentee Ballots

• You can request early/absentee ballots at any time during the election year by calling the Plainfield Town Office or visiting the Vermont Secretary of State's  Early and Absentee Voting page.​
