Social Concerns Committee
The Plainfield Social Concerns Committee meets every November to review applications from organizations that nurture residents' health, educational, and welfare needs, and makes recommendations about appropriation. After review by the Select Board, the Committee's recommendations are submitted for approval to the Plainfield voters at Town Meeting.
Organizations seeking funding should complete the application and submit it to the Town office. This year's deadline for applications is October 25. The application is available here. Social Concerns Committee Members
