Development Review Board (DRB)
The Plainfield DRB meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM at the Town Office (unless we announce a hearing that we expect to draw a larger public response, in which case the meeting is held at the Town Hall Opera House). During the COVID-19 pandemic, meetings are being held via Zoom. The DRB is a quasi-judicial board (i.e., acts like a court) that hears appeals from decisions of the Zoning Administrator. The DRB also reviews and makes decisions on applications for planned residential development applications, conditional use applications, and requests for variances from the Plainfield Zoning Ordinance.
Development Review Board decisions are public and posted by year the Development Review Board case was commenced. Development of land in Plainfield is governed by the Plainfield Zoning Ordinance. Contact Karen Storey, Zoning Administrator, for information on developing your land. DRB Members
Janice Walrafen, Chair (current term expires 2025)
Jim Volz (current term expires 2024) Seth Mullendore (current term expires 2025) Mary Niebling (current term expires 2026) |
