Office Hours

Our office is open for walk-ins Mondays & Fridays between 8:30–11:30 AM and 12:30–3:30 PM.
Wednesdays are by appointment. Same-day appointments are not available at this time. Please book online or request an appointment by phone or email at least one day in advance.
A drop box is available 24/7 for your convenience, located on the left side of the front door.

Property Deeds, Discharges & Transfer Returns Recording Fees

Warranty Deed, $15.00 per page
Mortgage Deed, $15.00 per page
Mortgage Discharge, $15.00 per discharge
Property Transfer Return, $15.00 per transfer
Survey Plat, $25 per mylar sheet

In-person vault access is self-service at $4 per hour.

Dog license
- Jan–Mar (on time): $11 if spayed/neutered or $15 if intact
- April 1 or after (late): $13 if spayed/neutered or $19 if intact

Vital Records
We encourage residents to obtain birth and death certificates via VSARA.

Harm Reduction Kits are available free at the Town Clerk's Office
These kits contain Narcan (Naloxone HCl Nasal Spray 4 mg), Fentanyl Test Strips, Xylazine Test Strips, BZK Antiseptic Towelettes, CPR Face Guard, disposable masks, and Harm Reduction information. They're available during open office hours Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8am - 4pm.

Land Records Search

Our land records from 1986 onward are available online through our Land Records Portal. Book 55 (2008) is currently unavailable online. For some searches, you'll need to refer to the index cards located in our vault. Ours is a hybrid system requiring both online and in-person research.
